Wireless Security Better, Needs Improvement
A new survey published by RSA concludes wireless security is improving, but too many organizations are still relying on primitive security protections when it comes to wireless networks.

Firm Says Access Control Goes 'Beyond Biometrics'
An airport security program under way at BWI Thurgood Marshall International Airport "has put a new emphasis on the need for greater use in airports of stronger identity verification technology," according to Paul Onorato, president of the Coalition of Airline Pilots Associations [CAPA]. "Positive identification of anyone with access to the cockpit is essential and that's why CAPA is pleased with the success, thus far, of the BWI SecureScreen program," says Onorato.

According to new research from Vodafone UK, many UK businesses appear unsure as to how to secure mobile devices effectively – with nearly a quarter of all businesses having experienced security issues as a result of employees using laptops or mobile e-mail devices outside of working hours and in contravention of company security policies.

Sony. Megapixel cameras that aren’t afraid of the dark.

Some megapixel cameras are remarkably scared of the dark. Because their high resolution comes at the cost of poor low light performance. To compensate, some rely on slow shutter speeds—which produce severe motion blur. Sony did better, carefully balancing megapixel resolution with the super sensitivity of our ExwavePRO and Light Funneling. Discover Sony megapixel cameras. Because crime never sleeps.
