Jet Professionals’ Crew Advantage Program Offers Benefits for Career Advancement
Orlando-based Jet Professionals' Crew Advantage benefits program, created for business aviation crews, offers participants attractive training discounts and health and wellness benefits to help them advance their careers in business aviation. Jet Professionals created Crew Advantage as a separate service for working crews who may never have had the opportunity to use Jet Professionals' career services before.

To participate in Crew Advantage, individuals must first meet the strict requirements met by all crews who use Jet Professionals’ career services, including full documentation of their qualifications and passage of a comprehensive background screening. A nominal yearly membership fee of $199 is required to join the Crew Advantage program, but the career services of Jet Professionals are offered at no charge.

Jet Aviation’s Aircraft Management Division Receives CAMO Certificate for Bermuda Registered Aircraft
Jet Aviation’s EMEA & Asia aircraft management division was recently certified with Continued Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO) approval for aircraft registered in Bermuda.

For Bermuda- and Cayman Islands-registered aircraft, management by a CAMO will be mandatory starting in 2010. Jet Aviation provides CAMO+ and Airworthiness Reviews for all EASA-registered commercial and private aircraft with a maximum take-off weight above 5.7 tons. Management by a CAMO-approved organization has been mandatory in the region since September 2008.

Gama Aviation Wins BACA Award
For the second year running, Gama Aviation has been named at the "Best General Aviation Operator" at the prestigious Baltic Air Charter Association (BACA) Excellence Awards, which were held in London's Guildhall during the Association's 60th Anniversary Luncheon on October 29, 2009.

The awards are voted for by the Association's members, which consist of international airlines, operators, brokers and charter customers.

BACA Launches New Standard for Air Charter Brokers
The world’s largest air charter broker organization is launching a ‘BACA Standard’ to raise the trading standards and business ethics of the air charter brokers within the membership.

Dick Gilbert, Chairman of BACA (Baltic Air Charter Association), announced the scheme at the largest gathering of BACA members and guests ever assembled: the 60th Anniversary Luncheon and Annual BACA Awards ceremony at Guildhall, London.

Metrojet Appointed Exclusive Operator of Asia Jet Fleet
Metrojet, based in Hong Kong, announced its appointment as the exclusive operator by Asia Jet for the Asia Jet Card Program, a private jet card that delivers the safety and service of private jet ownership with a prepaid commitment and without requiring any membership fee. Metrojet is appointed to comprehensively manage all aspects of Asia Jet’s fleet and provide maintenance and flight operations services, including aircraft scheduling and flight planning, flight and cabin crew management and flight dispatching.

Asia Jet Cardmembers will be entitled to superior availability to the Asia Jet fleet while also having access to Metrojet's world class fleet of business jets under its Air Operator’s Certificate. Cardmembers will be able to enjoy all the convenience of unparalleled access to a fully managed fleet without operational and acquisition responsibilities, which include hiring and training flight crews, flight scheduling and aircraft maintenance. The Asia Jet Cardmembers prepaid balance covers all pre flight costs. Hourly flight charges and associated handling fees are debited from the Cardmembers prepaid balances each time they fly.

ProJet Aviation, AOPA and FlightSafety International Present 4th Annual Aviation Education Expo
On October 13, 2009, more than 400 middle school, high school and college students from schools in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Washington, D.C. came to the ProJet Aviation Corporate Aviation Facility to experience a taste of what aviation had to offer at the 4th annual Aviation Education Expo. The event was held at the Winchester Regional Airport to help make students, faculty and parents aware of the numerous career opportunities within the aviation industry.

The Expo, which is completely free for students and participating vendors, is co-sponsored by ProJet Aviation, a D.C. Metro area aircraft management and charter operator; the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), the largest, most influential aviation association in the world; and FlightSafety International, one of the world’s largest flight safety training organizations. This year was FlightSafety’s first year as a corporate sponsor.

Pentastar Aviation Receives Class 3 and 4 Airframe Ratings from Federal Aviation Administration
Pentastar Aviation, based in Waterford, Mich., was issued FAR 145 Repair Station Airframe Class 3 and 4 Ratings on January 14, 2009. These Ratings, issued by the FAA, replace Pentastar’s prior Limited Airframe Ratings and authorize Pentastar’s 14 CFR 145 Repair Station to maintain all models of small and large aircraft of all metal construction.

“These ratings enable our maintenance staff to support additional makes and models of aircraft as well as expand our service capabilities for the many transient aircraft coming through our facility whenever there is a need for maintenance,” said Gary Roberts, Director of Quality Control. “These ratings are a great advantage to Pentastar and a great benefit for our customers.”

Germany's Euro Link Gmbh based in Munich adds Citation Bravo for 9 passengers.

Gama Aviation Inc., the US-based arm of the Farnborough based Gama Group, announced that 2009 is a record year for the growth of their managed fleet of business aircraft.

Million Air Dallas now offers 20 aircraft including a super-midsize Challenger 300.

Air charter operator Private Jets, Inc. announced the addition of a Beech King Air 200 to their current fleet of aircraft. The aircraft will be based in San Antonio, TX.
