U.S. Industrial Activity shows first gain since Q1 ‘08
The Federal Reserve Bank’s quarterly summary of U.S. Industrial Production and Capacity Utilization shows that industrial production rose 0.7 percent during September, following an August period that has been revised upward to gain 1.2 percent. Hybrid car builder to buy GM plant
Fisker Automotive plans to restart a Delaware GM assembly plant in 2012 and invest up to $175 million to refurbish and retool the Wilmington-located plant. There it will develop and build “affordable, family-oriented” plug-in hybrid sedans. Read the full story here
