The U.S. Army TACOM Lifecycle Management Command has awarded General Dynamics Land Systems, a business unit of General Dynamics, $134 million for work in support of the Stryker family of combat vehicles. Read More

Dana to Sell Structural Products Biz
Dana Holding Corp. has an agreement to sell its global Structural Products business to Metalsa, S.A. de C.V., the largest vehicle frame and structures supplier in Mexico. The operations and assets to be sold generated consolidated revenues of approximately $695 million in 2008. Metalsa will pay up to $150 million and assume certain liabilities related to the business. Terex Selling Mining Unit to Bucyrus for $1.3 Billion
Terex Corp. has a definitive agreement to sell its mining business to Bucyrus International Inc. for $1.3 billion in cash. Product lines to be divested include hydraulic mining excavators, electric drive mining trucks, track and rotary blasthole drills, and the highwall miner, as well as the related parts and aftermarket service businesses, including the Terex-owned distributorships. Boeing Contracted for Two 737-800s
Boeing and Panama's flagship air carrier Copa Airlines announced an order for two more Next-Generation 737-800s, bringing to 15 the number of 737-800s the airline has ordered this year. The order is valued at $152 million at list prices. Read More
