Smasher™ is a self-adjusting hydraulic building in machine. Operator
places cased-in book into Smasher™ and depresses a foot pedal. After
locating joint area, dual buttons are depressed, activating the
hydraulic system and applying 20,000 pounds of pressure. Heated joint
irons aid in forming the joint by reactivating the adhesive in joint
area. Adjustable dwell timer controls how long the book remains under
pressure. CE approved.
Produce 150 to 240 books per hour.
