So much for the Golden Rule
Precision Technology, (Pembroke, NH) a printing company that specialized in direct mail, suddenly closed its doors the other week, leaving 130 people unemployed.

However, what makes this story truly unique is this detail Amy Augustine reported in the Concord Monitor: “Tempers flared at one point yesterday when a handful of ex-employees, who left the company years ago to form another printing business—Polaris Direct in Hooksett—stood across the street and taunted the newly jobless Precision Technology employees, who yelled expletives and told them to leave. The former employees laughed and took pictures with their cell phones.”

Classy. See tinyurl.com/nqqu5d.

As always, thanks for reading,

Is wide format in your future?
“Wide-format digital printing offers new solutions that add value and help commercial printers foster new business growth,” said Michael Robertson, SGIA’s President and CEO. “Looking to the future, commercial printers will find it difficult to compete without some kind of digital imaging capability. The ability to provide a wide-range of imaged products will be increasingly valued — and expected — by the customer.” Learn more at 2009 SGIA Expo, Oct. 7-9 in New Orleans. See www.sgia.org.
