Telos VX
Multi-studio phone system
Telos VX shares phone lines across a number of studios using
standard IP technology. It is a scalable system that provides a solution
for stations with modest needs, while being able to grow to support
facilities that have large numbers of Telco lines and studios. It is
compatible with a wide variety of VoIP gateways and PBXs. Gateways are
available for POTS, T1/E1, and both BRI and PRI ISDN. These can be
rack-mount units that support large numbers of connections or low-cost
desktop boxes that interface a few POTS lines. Since SIP provides a rich
control interface, it would be possible to easily transfer calls between
the office and studio systems. The VX Engine is a 2RU device providing
call control and audio processing. There is a hybrid per line, allowing
multiple calls to be conferenced and aired simultaneously with excellent
quality. The VX Director Phone has two large, high-contrast color LCD
panels that provide line status, detailed caller information and fader
assignments.

Superior Electric Stabiline BVR Series
AC voltage regulators
The BVR Series offers a compact AVR package. With a new
(patent-pending), solid-state step regulating design that eliminates
full load carrying transformers and servo-motor control schemes, the BVR
is up to 40 percent lighter than other devices being offered. The input
range is the range of input voltages over which the unit will maintain
constant output voltage. BVR models are offered in two standard ranges
– narrow and wide range to accommodate various installation needs
(source stability and critical load requirements) as well as site
location. The power that must be corrected is greater for wide range
units than narrow range units.

OMB America MRI 20
Mobile transmitter
The MRI 20 DIG + TH is made of a four-audio-channel mixer and an
externally synthesized FM transmitter that can provide 20W RF output
signal (175 to 500MHz) or 10W RF output signal (510 to 980MHz). The
equipment includes an internal 12Vdc battery, which provides large
autonomy, and it can also work with an external dc battery and with ac
power supply between 110 and 220Vac. On its LCD display, transmission
parameters like forward power, reflected power and modulation level
between 175 and 980MHz in 20MHz sub-bands and 25kHz steps can be
visualized. The digital frequency tuning in the front panel (transmitter
and receiver) allows changing the transmitting frequency in case of
interferences.
