Focal Professional CMS 40

Monitoring speakers
The CMS 40 combines sound neutrality, extended bass frequency, high dynamics and absence of distortion at high sound levels, in an ultra-compact speaker. Its design allows near-field listening from as little as 16" without compromising sound neutrality or the delicate mid-bass and bass balance. Its compact size, combined with mounting points at the back and under the monitor, makes it easy to install even in the smallest post-production rooms. The CMS 40 monitor is equipped with an aluminum/magnesium inverted dome tweeter. The cabinet design combines an aluminum case with specific acoustic treatment. The 25W RMS, class AB, bi-amped system features adjustments for high and low frequency shelving.

Gefen Wireless RS-232 Extension

Extender
The Wireless RS-232 Extender allows long distance control of audio/video content using RS-232 protocol. Audio/video signals can travel up to 100' with no extension cables required. It is also an ideal plug-and-play add-on to already implemented systems using the RS-232 protocol. Small sender and receiver units are equipped with miniature antenna to propel the signal while remaining immune to extraneous noise in the operating environment. Two band rates are available, 19200 and 9600, offering flexibility in performance. Although equipped with power supplies on both sender and receiver units, extra power is not always needed if the source device and display are equipped to handle the RS-232 protocol. If more than one source needs to be accessed from afar, multiple units can be grouped to offer a greater signal transmission to the desired location.

ERI-Electronics Research CD324-8DB

8dB FM IBOC hybrid injector
The CD324-8DB is intended for use by FM radio facilities increasing IBOC injection to -14dB (4 percent). Its design is based on the field proven 10dB FM IBOC Hybrid Combiner used extensively in early IBOC FM field trials. By reducing the coupling level to 8dB the amount of digital power lost to the system reject load is reduced, while the analog power loss increases slightly. The 8dB Injector Hybrid is intended for those FM facilities running at low transmitter power levels and have an interest in increasing their IBOC effective radiate power level to the recently authorized -14dB power level.

Myat X-series

Coaxial transfer switch
The 1-5/8" Coaxial Transfer Switch demonstrates power handling capacity ideal for FM radio broadcast. An extremely low VSWR across all broadcast frequency bands is achieved with electrical performance that also provides high isolation. Broadcasters are insured of maximum power handling capacity, low loss, and long service life with the precision fit and copper current paths. The X-series switch is available in 120Vac or 240Vac drive voltages and control voltages of 12Vdc or 24Vdc. In the case of the loss of power, the switch will remain in position when power is restored. A manual override can be performed when ac power is disconnected.

Audio-Technica BP4001 and BP4002

Interview mics
The BP4001 cardioid dynamic interview microphone and BP4002 omnidirectional dynamic interview microphone feature extended-length handles. The BP4001's cardioid polar pattern reduces pickup of sounds from the mic's sides and rear, improving isolation of the desired sound source, and the BP4002's omnidirectional pattern provides a natural reproduction of surrounding ambience. With both mics, frequency response is tailored for natural, clear, articulate reproduction of spoken words. Also, both microphones provide exceptional isolation from handling noise.

Glensound Electronics Atomic Voiceover 08 and 08+

Microphone preams
The Atomic Voiceover 08 and 08+ are high quality microphone preamps for dynamic, condenser or ribbon mics. The 08+ was developed for voice recording into video editing systems. The Automatic Gain Adjust (AGA) system takes a snapshot of the audio levels over a 7-second sample period. The user simply presses the "Take Level/Mic Gain" button and reads a sample passage for level. The AGA system is able to set the input gain level over this period while allowing a suitable headroom for any louder passages. The level is constant and does not increase background noise during quiet passages. For monitoring, there is an audio input that is only fed into the users headphones, allowing them to monitor context audio for their voiceover.

RDL (Radio Design Labs) EZ-MPA1; EZ-MPA2

Microphone preamps
The EZ-MPA1 is a microphone preamplifier with front-panel volume control and audio level metering. A front-panel switch engages an audio compressor to control overloads and clipping during high-level audio bursts or peaks. Dynamic or condenser microphones are both supported with rear-panel switchable phantom voltage. The preamplified mic signal feeds both channels of the line output on RCA or mini jacks. LED VU metering facilitates easy level adjustment.

Telos Systems Z/IP One

Remote over IP codec
Z/IP One is a 1RU codec designed to maximize audio quality from public IP networks and mobile phone data services, including connections behind NATs and firewalls. Agile Connection Technology (ACT) is the foundation for the Z/IP's performance on real-world networks. When the network is functioning well, Z/IP provides the lowest possible delay and the highest possible fidelity. Should network conditions become challenging, the Z/IP ONE automatically lowers the bit rate and increases buffer length to ensure that the best possible audio quality gets to the studio with the least delay. Z/IP One is wireless capable and can connect to IP networks via Wi-Fi, EVDO and UMTS.
