MTV Selects Pinnacle Systems' Liquid Editing Solutions For Innovative Networked Media Strategy
Pinnacle recently announced the decision by MTV Networks Europe (wholly owned by Viacom) to deploy Liquid blue, chrome and Liquid Edition (formerly Liquid purple) editing tools within their new, shared workflow operations in Benelux. The purchase is part of an extensive program by MTV Networks Europe to build a fully networked broadcast environment for their MTV, TMF and Nickelodeon TV channel groups within the region. Pinnacle Servers at Turner EntertainmentWhen ground was broken in March 2000 on a 198,000 square foot facility in Atlanta, housing Turner Entertainment Networks’ new Network Operations Center, the engineering staff was given the mandate to streamline its capability to ingest and playout content for improved efficiency. By September 2003, this new facility will be home to 19 Turner Entertainment Network feeds including TNT, TBS, Cartoon Network, and Turner Classic Movies. Click here for the full article.
