From BE@IBC
Saturday
at IBC
Saturday morning I rose early for breakfast with Avid. The new
management, including CEO Gary Greenfield and Kirk Arnold EVP Customer
Ops, fielded questions on their new direction. Back at IBC with a booth
after staying away for a few years, Avid and Digidesign are together to
reinforce the move to product integration between the video and audio
lines, a process which customers have been asking for many years...
Straight
from the mouth of IBC
Today I had a chance to meet with Mike Crimp, COO of the IBC. I
took a break from the bustling show halls and met Mike in the Diamond
Lounge, located within the RAI.
So how were the show numbers this year? Well of course, it’s still
early but Mike says so far the numbers are promising...
Amberfin
and Snell & Wilcox

company. AmberFin is a spinoff of Snell & Wilcox and focuses primarily
on iCR, a multidelivery software platform. It creates a high-quality
file-based master, delivers quality-control review, provides unique file
conversion to multiple formats and simultaneously prepares multiplatform
versions of video content...
Hear
it all with Genelec
Genelec showed its 6010A active loudspeaker optimized for close
proximity listening applications. Its small size, sound quality and
rugged construction make it ideal for a traveling professional user...
