The president of the Washington State Association of Broadcasters has sent a letter to Senator Patty Murray (D-WA) saying that short of such an agreement as many as 14 full power TV stations in the state could be forced to channel share or go dark.

Analysis finds incentive auction alternative generates greater revenue for U.S. Treasury, delivers better consumer service

An analysis of an alternative to incentive auctions presented at the National Press Club today by the Coalition for Free TV and Broadband finds the group’s proposal will generate continuing revenue totaling more than $200 billion over time for the Treasury.
