Groundhog
Bites NYC Mayor
When Charles G. Hogg, Staten Island's famous
groundhog, emerged from his home yesterday, he did more than predict the
weather -- he also took a bite out of New York City mayor Michael
Bloomberg. "He was basically concentrating on his food," Mary Lee
Montalvo, a spokesperson for the Staten Island Zoo, said. "The mayor's
fingers may have just been there. He wasn't necessarily going for the
mayor."
