Line
Diverters
Vortex Valves North America
This leader in valve solutions introduces its patented Quantum
Series 4-Way Wye Line Diverter, specifically engineered to handle dry
bulk solids in pneumatic conveying systems with vacuum or positive
pressures up to 15 psig. The 4-Way Wye Line Diverter, available in 2- to
6-in. pipe or tube, can direct dry bulk material from one source to four
destinations, or converge from four sources to one destination. The
company uses precision laser-cutting and bending technology to
manufacture this leading-edge diverter valve. It provides a number of
advantages over traditional flapper and rotating tunnel style diverters
and eliminates trouble spots inherent in these conventional diverters.
The wye line diverter provides superior sealing, low installation
weight, fast in-line maintenance, and long-term, reliable service.
The Quantum Series provides positive shutoff of air and material
improving process efficiency, minimizes cross contamination, and
eliminates material buildup beyond the closed port. Adapting the Quantum
Series Wye Line Diverter to meet system requirements is made easy with a
selection of actuators, position indication switches, flanges, and tube
stubs. The Line Diverter also offers a variety of modifications to
accommodate high or low temperatures, corrosive, humid, and hazardous
environments. Contact Vortex for application specific information.
