The Athletic Club of Madison began operations in late 2008 but abruptly closed in July 2009. Many members who had prepaid memberships initially received no refund. The club also did not obtain a $25,000 security bond as required by state law. *The owner and members of Club Yuma (AZ) Fitness Center (http://www.clubyumafitness.com) recently saved the life of a 71-year-old man after he collapsed while playing racquetball. The members, including a paramedic from a local fire department, revived the man with the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). The man was seen walking around and talking after he was administered the AED.
