Wednesday marks the opening of the 25th Club Industry
Conference and Trade Show. At a time when the economy remains uncertain,
an event such as this allows club operators and their staffs to network,
to learn about new programs and processes, and to see the products and
services they need to operate their businesses more efficiently and
profitably. The event runs Wednesday through Friday at McCormick
Place-Lakeside Center in Chicago. Whether or not you are there in
person, you can keep up with what’s happening at the show by going to
the Club Industry show page.

If you hear a little trash talking at the Club Industry 2010
show this year, it may just be some members of the eight teams who are
participating in the Group X Gallery competition.

Retention, pricing, competition. These are just some of the
issues that are sure to be topics of discussion at the luncheon
roundtables from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Attendees can sit
down at a table on the topic of most interest to them, and with the help
of an industry consultant who will guide the discussion, share with and
learn from peers about that topic.

Do you have a problem that has you stumped? If so, Club
Industry 2010 has some experts on hand who may be able to help you. And,
best of all, their advice is free.

You don’t have to skip your workouts when you’re in
Chicago for the Club Industry 2010 show. Both Thursday and Friday offer
an opportunity to get your heart rate up—that is, if you can rise and
shine by 7 a.m.

|
With more than 110 seminars at Club Industry 2010 this year,
it may be difficult to sit in on every seminar that you’d like—but
you can sure try. With a shorter show this year, all these sessions have
been condensed into three days instead of four, which means more
seminars each day.
