NJ Considers Sales Tax Refund
Bill
TRENTON, NJ -- The New Jersey General Assembly is considering a bill
that would exempt fitness clubs from a 7 percent sales tax and would
give club members a refund for sales tax they've paid on memberships.

Man Pleads Guilty
to Peeping at Talbot County YMCA
CHESTERTOWN, MD -- A 44-year-old Ocean City, MD, man pleaded guilty
to using a camera in his locker at the Talbot County YMCA in Easton, MD,
to film unsuspecting men and boys, one of whom he inappropriately
touched, according to The News Journal.
The sentencing for the suspect, Alan Travers, is expected in April. He
pleaded guilty last week on one count of second-degree assault and 20
counts of video surveillance with prurient intent, the Delaware paper
reported.
East Shore
Receives Regional Honor
CHARLESTON, SC -- East Shore Athletic Club, Charleston, SC, was
named the seventh fastest growing company in the Charleston region by
the Charleston Regional Business Journal in late January. The
publication gave awards to 20 businesses.
East Shore has grown from three locations in Mt. Pleasant, to eight
locations in the Charleston area.
