Nautilus Reports Net
Loss, Suspends Treadclimber Production
Nautilus Inc. had a $47.7 million net loss for fourth quarter 2007
compared to net income of $12.9 million, and the company will suspend

Arrest Made in
Connection With Truman State Rec Center Thefts
KIRKSVILLE, MO -- A student at Truman State University (MO) was
arrested Thursday after a series of thefts from the school's student
recreation center, according to the Kirksville (MO) Daily
Express.
Kaleb Denief, 21, was taken into custody at the Adair County Detention
Center on a $25,000 cash-only bond. Denief was charged with two
felonies: theft/stealing of a credit card or letter of credit and
receiving stolen property. Police also found evidence linking Denief to
a Jan. 12 residential burglary, the newspaper reported.

The International Health, Racquet and Sportsclub Association
(IHRSA) released details for two events at its 27th annual International
Convention and Trade Show, to be held March 5-8 at the San Diego
Convention Center. Tennis legend Martina Navratilova will present
"Champion for Life" from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m on Saturday, March 8. Also,
Titan Fitness CEO Jeff Skeen will offer his perspective on how clubs can
leverage technology to gain a competitive advantage, enhance
profitability and improve member loyalty at the fourth annual IHRSA
Technology Summit, 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on March 7.
The Indian Wells (CA) Tennis Garden will play host to an NBA
preseason basketball game on Oct. 11 between the Phoenix Suns and the
Denver Nuggets, the Suns announced yesterday. The 16,000-seat outdoor
stadium at Indian Wells is like an NBA-style arena, complete with loge
seating and 44 suites, and plays host to the Pacific Life Open tennis
tournament, which will be held March 10-23. This will be the first
outdoor NBA preseason game in 36 years.
Greg Lappin, the general manager of the Rochester (MN) Athletic
Club, is hosting a live fitness show called "Fitness Connections" every
Wednesday for 12 weeks. The show, which airs on Austin, MN-based PBS
station KSMQ, will feature topics including barriers to exercising and
developing personalized exercise programs. The first show aired Feb. 6.

reported a net sales increase of 16 percent for the fourth quarter of
2007, John Aglialoro, chairman and CEO of Cybex, announced in a

will raffle a Harley-Davidson motorcycle at the International Health,
Racquet and Sportsclub Association's 2008 conference next month at the
San Diego Convention Center. All the proceeds from the raffle will be
donated to Augie's Quest, an initiative led by Life Fitness founder
Augie Nieto and supported by the Muscular Dystrophy Association to raise
money for ALS research. The motorcycle, a Dyna FXDF Fat Bob, is valued
at $15,000. Raffle tickets, which are $20 each or $100 for six, will be
sold in the Matrix booth (No. 2530) from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on March 6,
and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 7. The drawing for the winner will
be held at 4 p.m. on March 7.

Fold Away Strength Trainer was featured on NBC's "The Today Show"
earlier this month as part of its Do It Yourself segment titled
"Building a Home Gym." Al Roker and Amy Matthews, a licensed home
contractor and the host of "Sweat Equity" on the DIY Network, showcased
the F5 for its versatility and space efficiency.
Five individuals completed training to become the first Star Trac HumanSport master trainers
in the United States. HumanSport is Star Trac's newest
functional-integrated strength training line. The new team of experts
will act as the company's ambassadors and will share the features of
HumanSport programs with Star Trac customers. During the two-day
training, the master trainers received a complete Star Trac
indoctrination, as well as an overview of the HumanSport programs. The
team includes Thomas Tadlock, Roy Khoury, Leslie Davis, Sonja Friend-Uhl
and Christ McGarth.
