Contracting Business magazine is accepting nominations for its
Seventh Annual Woman of the Year Award.
Nominees must either own a contracting firm or hold an upper management
position, and be a leader in the HVAC community. We seek specific
examples of outstanding achievements and a solid record of leadership
within a candidate’s own HVACR firm, and throughout the industry.
We consider years in the industry, positions held, technical expertise,
business acumen, association, involvement, and the commitment to promote
and improve the HVAC industry.
The 2009 HVACR Woman of the Year will be profiled in the July 2009 issue
of Contracting Business, and be recognized before an audience of her
peers at HVAC Comfortech, the national, residential and light commercial
HVAC seminar and showcase.
Beyond providing the person’s name, nominations must include a written
description of the nominee's history in the industry, and key
accomplishments, both in the company, and in the HVACR industry.
For more information, or to submit a nomination, please contact Terry
McIver, executive editor, at 216/931-9732 or email him at tmciver@penton.com.
