This Week At Contracting Business
Interactive August 6, 2008 |
This year, HVAC Comfortech is being held in Atlanta. It’s not often
that Comfortech makes it to the Deep South. If you are one of the 2.35
gazillion or so air conditioning contractors located within 500 miles of
the Southern Mount Rushmore, jump on this chance for the greatest
learning opportunity in the industry by jumping in your truck and
heading to Comfortech. If you’re 500 miles distant, it’ll take you
less than 10 hours to make the trip per the Automobile Association or
six hours if you drive like the Atlanta locals.

I’ve been going to Comfortech for 10 straight years, and I’ve
learned how these things operate. I know the “sneaky” things they
don’t put in their glossy brochures.

Comfortech Gives Back
“We make a living by what we do, but we make a life by what we
give” -Winston Churchill
Sure we all come to HVAC Comfortech to enrich our careers
by learning the tricks of the trade, but how about taking just a few
hours of your time at Comfortech to give something back to the host
city, Atlanta?
For more information about Comfortech Gives Back, click here.
This year we are giving guests the opportunity to volunteer to help the
senior community of Atlanta with Comfortech Gives Back. The afternoon of
Saturday, September 13th will be devoted to giving back to the community
through a program called HOMES (Home Owner Maintenance and Enhancement
for Seniors.) Click here for information about the HOMES program.
NATE Top Tech Competition
Get your competitive juices flowing; next year could be your chance to
own the spotlight in the NATE Top Tech competition. Take notes as the
finalist, who scored the highest on their NATE certification exams, take
the stage to showcase their skills and compete to be the “top tech.”

First Timers Meeting
Comfortech veterans will tell you, “You never forget your first
Comfortech.” Make sure your experience is a memorable one and stop by
the First Timers Meeting and get acquainted with Comfortech vets who
will show you the ins and outs of Comfortech 2008.
