21. Seek Mentors. As a grunt engineer, I was often lost. Mike
Mosher, one of the senior engineers, took pity on me. He casually
mentored me by sharing simple advice and counsel. He showed me how to
use a piece of silver solder to test the logic in a CNC tube bending
program. He nudged me to run my designs by the guys on the shop floor
(who actually had to build the stuff I designed). With Mosher’s help,
I went from horrible to adequate.

contractors that continue to swap boxes, and the second camp has
contractors who take responsibility for the performance of the system
and add efficiency testing and duct renovations to their equipment

Presented by TRANE
Join us Thursday morning as we kick off HVACR Week with Robin Crow’s
The Power of Service.
The difference between businesses that thrive and the ones that struggle
to keep their doors open often boils down to one thing…how well their
customers are served. Ok, we all know that. But the critical distinction
is knowing how to expand your resources, maximize your efforts and
inspire your team to consistently put great service into practice.
Robin Crow is a speaker, author, entrepreneur and one of the most
innovative guitarists in the world. With over 2,000 presentations to his
name, his expertise on leadership and customer service comes from 30
hard-won years in the trenches as an entrepreneur. His company, Dark
Horse Recording, sets the gold standard for customer service and
excellence in the recording industry and is home to Faith Hill, Neil
Diamond and Jewel, to name a few.
