In my previous article, I suggested that you stay in touch with your
customers via an anniversary card on the anniversary of the product or
service you provided. As a result, they would be constantly reminded of
your services and perhaps would possibly recommend you to their friends,
family, neighbors, and co-workers.
If you’re willing to invest the time or effort in this, I’m
confident that the return on your “investment” would meet or exceed
anything that you’re doing, from Yellow Pages to direct mail. And,
the calls you receive from such a referral would certainly be
“pre-qualified.”

From now until October 31, 2008, contractors can enter to win the
latest and greenest refrigerant gadget at www.ecoLogicHVAC.com.
As part of its ecoLogic green program, Nordyne is giving away a brand
new YELLOW JACKET Solar-Powered Digital LCD Manifold.
As yet unreleased to the market, the new refrigerant gauge is powered by
sun or artificial light instead of batteries making it as green
as the refrigerant it measures. The Yellow Jacket Titan 4-valve manifold
works with eight refrigerants, including non-ozone-depleting R-410A. No
battery to replace also means no hazardous waste, no battery replacement
cost and no losing power during the middle of a call.
“Nordyne is committed to energy-conserving technology,”
says Dave LaGrand, president of Nordyne. “First, we developed our
23-SEER iQ Drive air conditioner. Then we launched our ecoLogic family
of high-efficiency products. And now, we’re partnering with
Yellow Jacket to promote green tools.”
To enter the contest and read the official rules, contractors should
visit www.ecoLogicHVAC.com. To learn more about the Yellow Jacket
Solar-Powered Digital LCD Manifold, visit www.yellowjacket.com or call
800/769-8370.
