The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) has reported that
the number of participants in its GreenChill Advanced Refrigeration
Partnership now includes more than 6,500 stores in 47 states. In 2008
the program partners reduced their aggregate emissions by 8.5%.
