WebExpo & Conferences: Taking Your Online
Event
to the Next Level
WebExpos, also known as Virtual Trade Shows, enable a
magazine or trade show franchise to conduct an exposition-type event
online.
In
2009, Penton has experienced growth in the number of online tradeshows
publications are conducting. This makes sense given the current
state of the economy and its impact on corporate travel and expense
budgets. As a result, Penton has a prime opportunity to serve
advertisers and readers by enabling them to experience the benefits of
an in-person event right from their office.
The
WebExpo is truly an event, complete with exhibits and seminars. In
fact, the seminar/webinars are vital in making the event a success
because they attract attendees in search of industry education. Once
the event is over, the entire WebExpo can be positioned on one of our
sites to generate additional on-demand traffic.
As a
leader in marketing virtual events, Penton Custom Solutions was asked
by our
webinar provider, ON24,
to be part of their virtual conference advisory board, to ensure that
the functionality within the product delivered is what the B2B
community requires. A user-friendly attendee environment, customized
look and feel of each event and a robust attendee networking platform
are just some of the results we now have available to us.
Revenue
is generated through seminar/webinar sponsorships and booth sales. The
base cost to conduct an everadeshow event:
- Full-service development and support
- 1
Live date with 12 months of hosting
- 8
Live webinars
- 50
Exhibit booths – (Additional booths can be added)
- Custom 3D environment designed to match the theme of
each event
During
the month of May, Penton Custom Solutions will help produce three
virtual shows with the Machine Design, EHS Today and
System iNetwork publications. To experience a live
virtual
show, we welcome you to register and attend for one or both of the
events below:
