Neutrik Introduces EtherCon for Cat-6 Cables at InfoComm 2007

Neutrik, designer and manufacturer of the industry leading XX series XLR cable connector, announces its EtherCon series for Cat-6 cables at InfoComm 2007 in Anaheim, Calif., booth 8033.

The EtherCon Cat-6 series offers a rugged patch cable solution, which includes a metal housing for RJ-45 cable connectors that protect the connector against mechanical load. It is equipped with Neutrik's chuck-type strain relief with a separate push-pull locking mechanism, to avoid accidental unplugging.

MultiDyne Exhibits Serial Digital Video Fiber Optic Transport for HDTV

MultiDyne is showcasing its new HD-1500 transport system for IPTV at next week's Infocomm International show. The company says the system is designed to ease the engineering and financial difficulties associated with the migration to HDTV. It is an economical solution for the fiber-optic transport of 19.4Mbps to 1.5Gbps HDTV signals.

It provides support for the SMPTE 292M 1.485 Gbps and the SMPTE 259M standards, with operation from 143Mbps to 360Mbps. more>>

Telco Systems has announced what it claims are significant enhancements to its EdgeGate CPE product family that support the growing bandwidth requirements for high-speed, high-quality, triple-play communications at an economical cost to residential and business users.
