Gefen's New HDMI v1.3 Extender Uses a Single Fiber-optic Cable and Small Wall Plates to Enhance Distance

When you want your lengthy run of HDMI throughout the facility to look as good as it performs, check the Gefen HDMI v1.3 over Fiber wall plate extender. It uses the same sender/receiver methodology often seen with other Gefen products, with local and remote locations connected by a single fiber-optic cable. The sender/receiver wall plates enable installers to create a good-looking system that delivers HDMI v1.3 signals up to 300m using in-wall fiber-optic cabling combined with Omron's transmit and receive Optical Sub-Assemblies. Where the signal both enters and exits the wall, a small wall plate is mounted, streamlining the process and eliminating extraneous cabling in the surrounding environment. Users can also opt to the standalone solution with small sender and receiver units, if desired. more>>
