Blu-ray Creation with the New Apple Final Cut Studio

This issue of Final Cut Pro Insider finds me—well, inside an Apple computer, appropriately enough, specifically to add a Blu-ray drive to a Mac Pro. It’s a journey that many of you will take now that Final Cut Studio can burn Blu-ray Discs, so I thought that I would share the experience. Then I’ll describe how to create a Blu-ray Disc with the new Final Cut Studio. Though both tasks might sound intimidating to the uninitiated, they’re actually so easy that you’ll be wondering if I actually get paid to write this stuff. Noise Industries and Development Partners Add Support for Newly Released Apple Final Cut Studio
Noise Industries, developer of visual-effects tools for the postproduction and broadcast markets, announced FxFactory compatibility for new Apple Final Cut Studio release. The FxFactory product line includes more than 200 award-winning visual-effects plug-ins optimized for realtime performance on the Mac platform. “We were anticipating the next major release of Final Cut and were adamant in providing immediate support for all FxFactory powered plug-ins,” comments Niclas Bahn, director of business development, Noise Industries. “The winning-combination of Final Cut and Motion’s innovative new features, coupled with the visual effects power of FxFactory products, will undoubtedly yield even more creative content. Manhattan Edit Workshop Set to Deliver Final Cut Pro Training
Manhattan Edit Workshop (MEWShop), a full-service and Apple, Avid, and Adobe training facility and education center that trains editors in the art and craft of editing, has been tapped to provide FCP certification during September’s HD Expo - Createasphere. The FCP Certification Workshop, a specially priced two-day workshop and exam for the newly released Final Cut Pro 7, is set for Sept. 15 and 16 at the New Yorker Hotel in Midtown Manhattan. The course will be taught by Chris Biggins, one of Apple’s top Final Cut Studio Master Trainers. more>>
