Olympics
The recent broadcast of the 2008 Beijing Olympics went off without a
hitch, thanks to an array of equipment from Anton Bauer, the world’s
premier provider of professional camera batteries, chargers, lighting
and other key mobile power equipment.
Anton Bauer delivered an assortment of gear to a number of global
networks including Beijing Olympic Broadcast (BOB), WNBC-TV Network, NBC
Today, and NBC owned, operated and/or affiliated stations Belo
Television, Hearst Argyle Television, Lin Broadcasting, Bonneville
International Corporation and Gannett Company. The equipment was also
used by ESPN, CNN, Australian-based SBS, Finland’s YLE and
Sweden-based SVT, as well as several news stations, such as Malaysia TV,
Televisa Mexico, SBP Italy, CBS News Beijing, TVE Spain, ESPN Brazil,
NOS Netherlands, TYC Sports Argentina, ARD/ZDF Germany and EBU European

digital film and DI restoration. The demonstration will feature Correct
V7, the just-released version of MTI Film’s award-winning digital film
restoration and finishing solution now celebrating its 16th year, when
linked to a Brightdrive, Bright Systems’ powerful media recording
system, providing realtime, shared access to digital media assets.
Highlighted features will include Correct V7’s unprecedented
dust-busting capabilities for film and DI. It will mark the first time

Portable Encoder at IBC 2008
Now Holophone’s H2-PRO and H3-D
will have access to the Dolby Pro Logic II encoding technology found in
the company’s popular H4 SuperMini and PortaMic 5.1 camera-mountable
microphones with the introduction of the Holophone N-Code portable
multi-channel encoder. The Holophone N-Code will be on exhibit at IBC

DVC Computes With Partners at
IBC
At this year’s IBC, DVC will present solutions for
digital film and post, broadcast and streaming, and presentation and 3D
together with partners. At Bright Systems (hall 7, booth J39) DVC will
show the uncompressed Dual Channel ClipRecorder XTreme X2 as 2k and HD
Ingest as well as the Playout-Station for BrightDrive. At MikroM booth
E79, hall 8, DVC will present the megacine 3D bundle and the prototype
of the new ultra-small-sized megacine compact and ClipDisk 2000, the
Dual-Format 2k player now also with DVI outputs and DVI-3D-Option. At
