Letters to the Editor
(Re: Loose Cannon: Two Young Men Meet The Wizard From Oz, Direct
Newsline, Monday, June 2, 2008: directmag.com/opinions-columnists/loosecannon/loose-cannon-two-young-men-oz-0601/)
Ahhh, the Wall Street Journal! How I lusted to be written about in those
hallowed pages. I, who have been quoted in the New York Times,
Washington Post, LA Times, Chicago Tribune, the New York Sun,
Entrepreneur, Forbes, DIRECT and 100 other publications, have not
reached the Mecca of press hogs -– Thee (sic) Wall Street
Journal.
I, the renegade flying monkey of the wicked witch, oh-so-near to the Oz
of the publishing world only to find it being purchased by Rupert of the
Right, the Intellectually (but not financially) Challenged One who
believes that balance involves cutting off the other side of the
scale.
Darn -- I knew I should have done that interview with the Weekly World
News before it folded!
Not that I have an opinion.
