AEMC introduces Dual
Display Clamp-on Meters
AEMC’s Models 670 and 675 are True RMS clamp-on meters
that provide RMS measurements for today’s non-linear electrical
environments. These meters are designed to measure and display amps and
volts at the same time. They are also auto-ranging and provide the best
measurement range and resolution for troubleshooting, and are sized for
comfortable, one-handed operation. The tapered and hooked jaw design
facilitates maneuvering in crowded wiring and breaker panels, making it
easy to select conductors.

Reel and Cable
Handling Machinery
Reel-O-Matic has introduced a new heavy-duty
self-contained shaft-less pay-off
and take-up cable processing system. Nicknamed the "Cat-Walk" since both
the pay-off
and take-up units are united on one integrated platform, the machine is
operated with
a wireless radio remote control (cable free) to respool material from
any vantage point,
up to several hundred feet away. The Model FMPT4/FMP is powered by an AC
Vector variable-speed, torque-controlled drive system for increased
respooling speeds up to 0-115 RPMs. The Shaftless FMPT4 is designed to
handle reel diameters up to 60 inches O.D. x up to 4,000 pounds. The
FMP8 shaftless pay-out system is engineered to support reels up to 60
inches O.D. x 8,000 pounds. The FMP8 includes a hydraulically powered
pay-off and rewind assist benefit that feeds and rewinds cable to and
from the FMPT4. A potentiometer controlled electromagnetic brake
provides adjustable back tension during the spooling operation and
prevents the supply reel from overspinning when the take-up drive slows
down or stops. Reel-O-Matic
Aluminum Riser MC
Southwire’s feeder size Riser MC cable with AlumaFlex
conductors is a time-saving solution for vertical installations. An
attractive alternative to both pipe and wire standard MC cable, Riser MC
cable eliminates the need for any type of special conductor supports or
offsets because of an internal polymeric binder under the armor that
holds the conductors in place. It's manufactured using AlumaFlex AA-8000
Series conductors and is available in 3/0 AWG through 750 kcmil.

Ground Rod Clamps
The SP58 Stainless Steel Ground Rod Clamp is made from a
non-rigid stainless steel metal strip that will not crack when excessive
torque is applied during installation. The innovative design and
material allow the SP58 to conform around the ground rod and conductor
as the bolt is tightened, increasing the conduction area of the
connection.
The one-piece thread insert provides a clean internal thread profile
with a tighter thread pitch, which creates stability and improves
performance. If over-tightened, the bolt head is designed to shear,
making a secure connection instead of stripping or cracking like a
traditional acorn clamp. Erico
Coated Lamps
The protective coating on CoverShield safety-coated
lamps meets industry regulations for glass and chemical containment. If
a lamp ruptures whether by impact, dropping, unusual stress or thermal
shock, CoverShield’s protective coating will contain glass shards and
other material within the envelope. This containment helps offset the
risk of contamination or injury while eliminating the expense of
cleanup. The CoverShield product line includes CFLs, linear
fluorescent, HID, general-service incandescent and heat lamps. Linear
lamps are approved by NSF, CFIA, USDA, FDA and OSHA. Custom coating is
available for any HLT product.
Halco Lighting Technologies
Plugs and
Receptacles for Hazardous Locations
The DXN37C product line features plugs and receptacles
with 37 electrical contacts. Each contact on the plug and receptacle
can carry up to 5A at 220V, making the DXN37C excellent for control
applications. The DXN37C devices are suitable for hazardous areas
because they are ATEX-rated for use in Zones 1 and 2 (gas) and Zone 21
and 22 (dust) classified areas. They enable quick and safe connect and
disconnect of machinery or systems with multiple control loops, feedback
switches, photo eyes, lights and other devices with low amperage
requirements. Meltric
Poke-Through
Devices
Evolution Series poke-through devices are designed to be
installed in 6-inch or 8-inch holes in the slab. Instead of
core-drilling these holes after the slab is poured, contractors can now
take advantage of Evolution Pre-Pour Sleeves. These PVC sleeves attach
to the structural decking and maintain a 6-1/8-inch or 8-1/8-inch
cast-in hole. Each unit includes three attachment legs, thumb screws
and end caps. After the pour, the contractor simply removes the
pre-pour sleeve and installs the Evolution poke-thru device in the hole.
The sleeve, which is not a fire-classified product, must be removed.
Labor-intensive core drilling is eliminated, saving time and money on
the job. Wiremold
Wind Turbine Cable
Oil-, solvent-, chemical- and fuel-resistant, GreenLINX
Cables are manufactured specifically to withstand the rigors of wind
power environments. Their flexible construction allows for easy
termination and installation and helps the cables to fit in tight
spaces. GreenLINX cables also carry Underwriters Laboratories’ WTTC
approval for 1,000V cable. In years past there was no standard for
cables used in wind turbines. This new standard, which stands for Wind
Turbine Tray Cable, is now required by the UL for use in wind turbines.
Not using cables with WTTC approval can mean costly replacements down
the road. The cables are available through a new partnership with C&M
Corp. Allied Wire & Cable
Fan/Fixture Mount
Kits
Erico is offering two new heavy-duty Fan/Fixture Mount
Kits, part of the Caddy line of electrical fixings, fasteners and
supports. The 512HDFM35 single-brace kit can support up to 35 pounds for
fans and 50 pounds for fixtures. The 512HDFM70 double-brace kit can
support up to 70 pounds for fans and 90 pounds for fixtures. Included in
each mounting kit are two Fixture Mount Stabilizer Clips (FMSBC1) and
the innovative Caddy Speed Link universal support system, which serves
as the means of support to meet the requirements of the NEC. The 2
1/8-inch electrical box is pre-mounted in the center of the brace and
features open knockouts for quick and easy installation. The installed
box position is also fully adjustable over 16 inches to provide a
customizable installation. Both fan/fixture mount kits are UL-listed. Erico
