Programmable Logic Controllers Online
Training Flexible, interactive, and efficient online
training. Convert your computer into a virtual PLC and study at your
own
pace, on your schedule, in your home. The PLC technician training
program introduces the concepts of PLCs and explains how they can be
used in a plant or manufacturing system. The simulation software lets
you design ladder logic programs, perform tests, and simulate the
operation of real-world components including motors, solenoid valves,
and a wide variety of other discrete and analog I/O devices.
Our
program features:- Open enrollment and flexible payment
options
- Interactive CD-ROM and online learning resources
- Hands-on labs using software simulation
- Free 1-800
technical, tutorial, and admin support
- Offered through a
network
of colleges across North America

Power Factor Testing This course covers theory,
procedures, and safety for power/dissipation factor testing (AC
insulation testing). Address testing methods, potential problems, and
compensation for them. Perform various types of power/dissipation
factor testing on transformers, oil circuit breakers, oil and
compound-filled bushings, and insulating liquids and interpret test
results. Find a convenient AVO Training Institute location and date

FR Garment
Evaluation This educational Webcast covers evaluating
flame-resistant (FR) fabrics, from testing protocols to after-wash
performance and shrinkage control. It also discusses various properties
regarding the way a garment is manufactured that can affect wear life,
including product consistency, construction techniques, and pattern
sizing. http://www.knowyourfr.com
Short-Circuit Analysis This course covers
symmetrical components theory and application, impedance diagram
development, and short-circuit model development including three-phase,
SLG, L-L, and LLG fault. Calculate symmetrical and asymmetrical
short-circuit currents and manual point-to-point balanced and
unbalanced
short-circuit analysis. Build sample short-circuit analysis using SKM
System Analysis, Inc.'s A-FAULT software in lab. Find a convenient
AVO Training Institute location and date at www.electricaltrainingservices.com.
Solid-State Protective Relay Maintenance This
course
covers basic and complex solid-state relay theory, application, and
components. Interpret internal and external wiring diagrams and timing
curves. Test and calibrate the following relays in lab: voltage,
overcurrent, differential, directional, and synchro-verifier. Find a
convenient AVO Training Institute location and date at www.electricaltrainingservices.com.
