Electric Power Distribution Workshops
The Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T), formerly University of Missouri-Rolla, in cooperation with Cooper Power Systems, offers a series of two- and three-day workshops on a broad range of topics related to electric power distribution. All courses feature highly polished workshop notes and PowerPoint presentations. These workshops are available for in-house or captive workshops.
OCP and FPD online classes will be available soon. Registration information is available at: 2010 Course Descriptions

Grounding and Bonding
Bonding and grounding in any building is essential. The grounded circuits of machines need to have an effective return path from the machines to the power source in order to function properly. Non-current carrying metallic components, such as equipment cabinets, enclosures, and structural steel, need to be bonded so voltage potential cannot exist between them.
