Network-infrastructure semiconductor maker Mindspeed Technologies has put the finishing touches on its acquisition of Picochip Limited, a U.K.-based, privately held supplier of integrated system-on-a-chip (SoC) devices for small-cell basestations. Consensus has it that Picochip is the leading supplier of SoC solutions for small-cell basestations.
