The TPS727xx family of low dropout regulators (LDOs) from
Texas Instruments achieves an 8-µA quiescent current by way of an auto
low-power mode that teams with a transient response of ±50 mV while
maintaining low noise and a high power-supply rejection ratio
(PSRR).

The AVX Corp. zinc-oxide-based UltraGuard varistor series now
includes a higher-voltage (18-V) version that exhibits a lower leakage
current of 1 µA maximum. The multi-layer ceramic varistors also feature
non-linear, bi-directional voltage-current characteristics similar to
back-to-back Zener diodes with an EMC capacitor in
parallel.
