The Coal Prep 2009 plans are underway
Show planning is in progress and the Conference Advisory Board will be meeting on Sept. 23 in Las Vegas at Mine Expo. The conference will take place April 27 -- 30 at the Lexington Center in Lexington, KY and will feature sessions that are essential to the coal prep professional.

The Coal Preparation Society of America and the International Organizing Committee
The Coal Preparation Society of America and the International Organizing Committee (IOC) of the ICPC will host the 16th International Congress to be held at the Lexington Convention Center in Lexington, KY, April 25-30, 2010.

We are now calling for papers to be included in the technical program. There will be approximately 120 presentations selected to occur in parallel sessions. The extended abstracts should be in English with no more than 500 words. The papers will be peer reviewed. The IOC stipulates that the presentations are to be given in English with this topic being reviewed at the April 2009 IOC Meeting. Instantaneous translations will be provided in Russian and Chinese.

Abstracts under the following topics related to coal preparation, but not restricted to these topics, will be considered for inclusion:
• International Coal Marketing
• Coal Utilization
• Carbon Management Processes
• Low Rank Coal Upgrading
• Dry Coal Cleaning
• Preparation Plant Design
• Crushing and Screening
• Classification
• Dense-Medium Separations
• Water-Based Density Separators
• Froth Flotation
• Ultra Clean Coal
• Dewatering & Agglomeration
• On-Line Monitoring Systems
• Material Handling Systems
• Waste Management Systems
• Destoning
• Plant Performance Monitoring
• Modeling & Simulations

The following information must be submitted with the abstracts:
• Title of proposed presentation
• Names, titles and affiliations of the author/s
• Name of the presenting author
• General content of presentation
• Conclusion/results
