Note From The Editor
Welcome to the November issue of Buyer's Express!
Please take a few minutes to look over the new product and technology
information that follows. Handy links are provided with each product to
take you right to each company's web site. Read even more new product
and technology articles at the Farm Industry News web site, www.farmindustrynews.com.
SeedCommand™
SeedCommand makes one of the most complex farming
operations simple! The AutoSwath™ feature for planters
automatically controls planter clutches, eliminating costly overplanting
on end rows, point rows, terraces and waterways. The system allows
growers to map hybrid/variety locations and record split-planter
operations for better recordkeeping and decision making. SeedCommand
replaces existing KPM I, II or III planter monitors on KINZE planters.
Planter monitor functionality will be available on other planters for
the 2009 growing season. Variable rate planting is made possible through
a serial connection to Rawson controllers -- matching seed population to
yield potential.
See your Ag Leader dealer or visit www.agleader.com for more
information.

Loftness 15 and 20
Windrower Shredders
Loftness has redesigned its 15 and 20 Windrower
Shredders for 2007. Some of the improvements include:
* A diffuser has been added to the rear of the shredder with vertical
parallel rods. The closely spaced parallel rods deflect material
downward allowing air to pass through, resulting in a well-formed
windrow.
* A rear air vent has been added venting unwanted air upwards, while
directing shredded material towards the rear diffuser.
* Redesigned wings have been extended, guiding shredded material to a
uniform windrow.
* Repositioning of the rear wheels improves field operation and road
transporting.
* A full-length plate, located behind the rotor, has been added to help
guide shredded material toward the diffuser.
* New specifications denote the quantity of cupped knives required to
improve air velocity, without compromising the ability to effectively
harvest crop residue.
Order before January 31, 2008 to lock in 2007 prices for 2008 delivery.
