Two Die When Apparatus Plunges Into Ditch Two volunteer firefighters in Colorado died when the apparatus they were operating plunged into a ditch as it crossed a small bridge. Firefighter Killed When Tanker Rolls A firefighter in Louisiana was killed when the tanker he was driving left the roadway and rolled over. New Elkhart Nozzles Go High-Tech Elkhart Brass introduced two new nozzles that use high-tech designs to deliver performance unlike any other nozzles. Havis-Shields Improves Spot Light Performance The new Havis-Shields Xenon HID Collins Dynamics spot lights have longer life and lower current draw. Shop News Colorado to Host Maintenance Academy The Colorado Fire Mechanics Association will host the Emergency Vehicle Maintenance Academy in Greeley, Colo., on July 28–Aug. 1.
