(ATA) called for the introduction of several environmental initiatives yesterday before the Subcommittee on Highways and Transit of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, which the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association (OOIDA) countered as being “irresponsible and ridiculous.”

California ports to start fees Feb. 18
The Port of Los Angeles and Long Beach will begin collecting the Clean Truck Fee (CTF) beginning on Wednesday, February 18th, via PortCheck Inc., a not-for-profit company created by marine terminal operators to collect the fees.
