York/New Jersey is more than a decade old and the port is unable to
maintain a strong labor force due to low pay and operational
inefficiencies, according to a new study completed by professors David
Bensman and Yael Bromberg of Rutgers University’s School of Management
and Labor Relations.

Obama
administration nixes miles traveled tax proposal

Transportation Finance by the National Surface Transportation
Infrastructure Financing Commission suggested switching to a vehicle
miles traveled (VMT) tax to raise capital for the U.S. infrastructure
system. However, the odds of it being put in place anytime in the next
few years seem unlikely, after the Obama administration denied any
interest in switching to a VMT system.

you come to understand that this mammoth sleeper is actually a huge boon
to him and the job he performs week after countless week on the highways
that crisscross the U.S.
