Item Unique Identification (IUID) is a mandatory Department of Defense requirement. Brady has a solution that makes it easy for you to comply.

The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) launched Unique Identification (UID) to improve the management of personal property, real property, personnel, and roles. Item Unique Identification (IUID) is a mandatory DoD requirement on all solicitations issued on or after January 1, 2004 and is to be as permanent as the life of the item being identified.

Brady’s DoD UID System provides users with the ability to
  • Create and Print labels for UID Compliance
  • Read and Validate UII constructs on labels
  • Verify and Grade UID labels
DoD UID System packages are also available.
