FBI awards $100 million building
project to Alex S. Palmer

The FBI recently selected Alex S. Palmer & Co. (Palmer) to be the
developer/owner of the agency's new Denver headquarters. Nashville-based
Palmer emerged as the top bidder among a short list of five developers
vying for the $100 million project.

top Ramsey County's shopping list

Five of the top 10 spending categories in the "Top Ramsey County,
Minnesota, Commodities in 2006" list are construction-related, including
highway road construction, general construction and design/build of
public buildings. The top two spending categories -- highway road
construction and design/build of public buildings -- accounted for
nearly $37 million in county spending in 2006.
