GAO: Air Force made 'significant errors' in tanker
contract decision

Boeing has been given new life in its bid to supply the U.S. Air
Force with the next generation of aerial refueling tankers. The
Government Accountability Office (GAO) ruled that the Air Force "made a
number of significant errors" when it awarded the $35 billion tanker
contract to a team made up of Los Angeles-based Northrop Grumman and
EADS, the French-German parent company of Airbus.
