H.R. 6252 was introduced by Reps. Pete Stark, D-Calif., and David Camp, R-Mich. Dubbed the “Stark-Camp” bill, its official title is the "Medicare DMEPOS Competitive Acquisition Program Reform Act of 2008."

A companion bill in the Senate was expected to be introduced this afternoon.
