Keynotes and Events The Opening Address will be held on April 6 from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in the Convention Center N109. Legendary comedian Bill Cosby will kick off NAB 2003 with a special one-night performance (sponsored by EMC Corporation) at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino on April 6. An 8:00 p.m. reception for all ticket holders will precede the performance, which begins at 9 p.m. Visit the NAB Radio And Television Career Fair And Seminar, on Sunday, April 6. Get advice from experienced broadcast professionals, learn about the current job market and meet with representatives from radio and television stations and related companies seeking employees for jobs ranging from entry-level to management positions. All-Industry Opening Ceremony and Keynote Address: April 7 from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Listen to Eddie Fritts', NAB president and CEO, annual State of the Industry address; Barry Diller (chairman and CEO of USA Interactive and Vivendi Universal Entertainment) will deliver the keynote address. Also at the ceremony, NAB will honor ABC News' Cokie Roberts with the Distinguished Service Award. Mike Volpi of Cisco Systems will talk about issues concerning transitions to new-media formats, such as broadband, network convergence, content networking, security, the role of the government, digital rights management and on-demand streaming. This NAB MultiMedia World hour-long keynote begins at 5 p.m. on April 7 at the Las Vegas Convention Center S222. A reception immediately follows.
