Fairlight CMI Auction Now Live on eBay! Following two years
of jetting around the globe to get signatures for each
of the 41 keys on the first CMI keyboard made, Fairlight has launched a
live
private auction of the unit on eBay. Following a week of bids, the CMI
will
be sold at a gala fundraiser in New York on December 11, with all
proceeds
to benefit Witness, a nonprofit founded by Peter Gabriel in the early
'90s
to document human rights abuses. Signatures on the keys include Stevie
Wonder, Herbie Hancock, Bono, Brian Wilson, Peter Gabriel and countless

installed a Solid State Logic C100 digital broadcast console as part of
