Cerwin-Vega Intense Line
Cerwin-Vega announced that it is now shipping its Intense line of
portable sound reinforcements products. The products made its North
American debut at the NAMM Show in Anaheim (January 20-23, 2005). The
line comprises three new models with high levels of user-researched
features, including titanium-compression drivers, plywood cabinets and

Electro-Voice X-Line Very Compact
Electro-Voice introduces the latest members of its line array
loudspeaker family, the X-Line Very Compact: a compact single 8-inch
XLE(tm) and the larger double 8-inch XLD. Each full-range line array
element features two ND2S compression drivers for maximum high-frequency
headroom. Both systems can be combined with the matching XS212 bass
cabinet for low-frequency extension. The X-Line is scheduled for

Mackie announced the debut of its new S200 Series and C Series Precision
Passive loudspeakers. New S200 and C Series passive loudspeakers will be

Telex Pro Audio Group (Electro-Voice), Dynacord, Midas, Klark Teknik and
Telex) is pleased to announce that effective February 1, 2005, its
Caribbean and Florida export accounts are under the management of
Florida representative team, Sales Force & Associates. Twenty-eight
total existing export accounts will now be managed by Sales Force.

DPA MICS
GET SUPER BOWL SOUND
ESPN and Fox Sports turned to DPA microphones to help battle the wind
and the noise of Jacksonville, Fla.-based Alltel Stadium during Super
Bowl XXXIX. Various types of DPA mics were used by the networks for pre,
post and live game coverage, according to Gary Baldassari, a DPA
technical adviser: "The 4088 Miniature Cardioid headband mics were used
by a panel of ESPN commentators at a place called the Freedom Fountain,
down on the river," Baldassari said. MORE

Switzerland, recently completed his farewell jaunt of North American
