SPL Invests in NSCA Education The NSCA Education Foundation
has met its $100,000 fundraising challenge due to a sizable donation of
$8,400 from SPL Integrated Solutions. The donation came at an ideal time
as the Shure Inc. matching campaign came to a close on July 31, 2006.
Last August, Shure announced a commitment to support the continued
education of commercial electronic systems professionals by matching
33.33 percent of contributions made to the NSCA Education Foundation

Eagle Communication recently installed two Allen & Heath
GL2800 live sound mixing consoles in Second Ebenezer Baptist Church in
Detroit. The mixers were selected to manage a large number of inputs and
multiple mixes feeding different speaker clusters and locations in the

JET Club Brings in EAW The new JET Nightclub at the Mirage
Hotel in Las Vegas offers a sound reinforcement system featuring EAW
Avalon Series loudspeakers. Within a 15,000-square-foot space, JET is
outfitted with high-end entertainment technology in each of its three
distinct rooms, which are discretely fed hip hop, rock and house music.
As he's done with numerous cutting-edge club sound designs, John Lyons,
president of design/build firm John Lyons Systems, chose to head the JET
system with EAW Avalon Series loudspeakers, which he originally
co-designed with the EAW engineering team. MORE

Orlando Church Faith Assembly of God Church in Orlando, Fla., has
brought in an Electro-Voice XLC line array loudspeaker system. Encore
Broadcast Solutions of Winter Springs, Fla., specified and sold the
system, which was installed by Ricky Johnson of Pro Audio Solutions.
Part of a complete sanctuary renovation, the new P.A. features two main
arrays of eight XLCi127+ boxes powered by 12 P3000RL amplifiers running

LightViper Installed at Florida Park FiberPlex's LightViper
fiber-optic digital audio transport system has been installed in Crane's
Roost Park, a multi-use venue located in a rejuvenated green space in
the city of Altamonte Springs, Fla. Audio/video systems integrators Teer
Engineering recently completed the first phase of a large-scale,
sophisticated A/V system installation, including the upgraded venue's
900-seat amphitheater that features a 100x60-foot "floating stage" on
the park's 37-acre lake. MORE
SLS Spec'd for New Jersey Church Consolidated Audio, a New
Jersey--based pro audio sales and installation company, installed
multiple SLS Loudspeakers in the sanctuary of Calvary Chapel located in
