Guide helps explain hazmat training
A new publication, What You Should Know: A Guide to Developing a Hazardous Materials Training Program, is now available for download from the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) webpage at www.phmsa.dot.gov.

JPA offers cleaning information
The Juice Products Association has a Web site page dedicated to Tanker Wash Resources for handling tank trailers hauling juice and juice beverages at juiceproducts.org.


The page includes a list of facilities that have been audited and meet the requirements of the JPA Tanker Wash Facility Audit. "The audit is designed as a standardized system to evaluate tanker cleaning practices and compliance to JPA's Model Tanker Wash Guidelines for the Fruit Juice Industry (Tanker Wash Guidelines)," the information states.


The 2008 Model Tanker Wash Guidelines For the Fruit Juice Industry also is posted for reference.

EPA registers food contact surface sanitizer
