Galland Henning Nopak, Inc. Announces
New President
Galland Henning Nopak, Inc. (GHN) announced today that Steve Iram
was appointed the new President by the GHN Board of Directors. Mr. Iram
will succeed Daniel Steele who will remain as Chairman of the Board of
Directors. Prior to Galland Henning, Iram, spent fifteen years with
HUSCO International in a series of increasingly responsible positions,
including production, manufacturing operations and program management.
Iram, a former U.S. Army officer, is a graduate of United States
Military Academy at West Point and holds an MBA from Marquette
University. Iram also serves on the Board of Directors for Racine
Federated Inc.

HYDRAULIC INSTITUTE RELEASES ANSI/HI
PUMP STANDARDS CD-ROM VERSION 2.1
The Hydraulic Institute (HI) has announced the release of ANSI/HI
Pump Standards Version 2.1 on CD-ROM. The new and comprehensive CD-ROM
is comprised of the complete set of 28 ANSI/HI Standards, five of which
have been extensively updated since the release of Version 2.0 in 2005.
Additionally, the CD-ROM includes the first edition of the Controlled
Volume Metering Pumps for Nomenclature, Definitions Application and
Operation (ANSI/HI 7.1-7.5).

NFPA Education and Technology
Foundation Announces 2010 Gift Award
The NFPA Education and Technology Foundation Board of Directors is
pleased to announce a $5,000 gift has been awarded to the University of
Illinois at Chicago. The Instruction Test Bench for Energy Efficient
Electrohydraulic Systems with Independent Metering Valves project is
being headed up by Professor Sabri Centinkunt. In addition to
strengthening ties between academia and industry, NFPA's Gift Program
seeks to stimulate interest in fluid power on campuses across the
country and attract some of the best and brightest students to the
field.

Flow Monitor for Hydraulic & Lubrication
Systems
MILWAUKEE, WI: Webtec Products Ltd, has launched a new hydraulic
flow monitoring solution called the FlowHUB. Aimed at hydraulic system
designers and maintenance engineers, the compact FlowHUB can replace up
to six discreet hydraulic components saving both installation time and
total component cost. Applications include condition monitoring,
preventive maintenance, component testing, closed-loop control as well
as other industrial applications. This innovative new product can
measure, display, signal alarm conditions, and transmit flow readings to
PLC or data acquisition systems as well as measure and display
temperature in fluid power or lubrication circuits. The FlowHUB utilizes
