EFFICIENT COOLING with COMPACT CABINET COOLERS
Noren Products Cabinet Coolers (CCC) reduce downtime while
removing the heat from sealed electrical panels and enclosures using
heat pipe technology. The CCC's prevent contaminant from getting
into enclosures. They reduce failures and downtime, consume less energy
than A/C, are easy to install, and maintenance free. Noren offers a
variety of models; below ambient, NEMA 12, 3R, 4, 4X, Stainless Steel,
UL,cUL, RoHS compliant.

Nanotechnology Safety
Research
|
H.R. 5940, the National Nanotechnology Initiative Amendments Act of
2008 passed the House of Representatives by a vote of 407 to 6. H.R.
5940 reauthorizes and refines the National Nanotechnology Initiative
(NNI), notably strengthening the commitment to environmental and safety
research. According to Chairman Bart Gordon (D-TN) any initiatives in
nanotechnology must begin with a thorough, transparent process. The
current nanotechnology research program has not yet put in place a
well-designed, adequately funded, and effectively executed research
program focused on the environmental and safety aspects of
nanotechnology. H.R. 5940 addresses the deficiency by requiring that a
research plan, with detailed objectives and funding targets, be
developed and quickly implemented.

***Acrylic Flow Meter***
|
ORANGEBURG, NY: ACR Clear Acrylic Flow Meters feature direct
reading dual scales mounted interchangeably at the rear of the flow
meter. The scales display both English and Metric System units and are
mounted by means of locating holes between the rear of the acrylic block
and the yellow-colored backing plate. This exclusive feature allows
simple removal of the existing scales and easy mounting of additional
scales for different fluids and flow rates. In addition, these versatile
meters offer quick conversion from factory-set panel mounting to partial
or full in-line configurations by correspondingly exchanging the Plug
Seals and the Inlet/Outlet Connectors. Additional features of the ACR
Clear Acrylic Flow Meters include 1/8 NPT Female Inlet/Outlet
Connectors. ---Dakota Instruments, Inc.

***Miniature Rotary Batch Mixer***
|
UTICA, NY: A new Miniature Rotary Batch Mixer blends bulk
ingredients, adds liquids and achieves 100 % batch uniformity in less
than three minutes while heating or cooling the batch. The mixer, model
MX-1-SSJ, features an internal spray line for liquid additions, a
discharge chute to direct the flow of discharged materials, and an
insulated, jacketed mixing drum that can be piped to an oil, steam or
chiller system. The unit is equally effective at blending batches from
100 to 15 percent of its 1 cu ft (28 liter) capacity, and can distribute
micro ingredients with 100% uniformity regardless of disparities in the
bulk densities, particle sizes or flow characteristics of batch
ingredients. ---Munson Machinery Co.

***Multi-Mag L Series Flow
Meter***
|
HEMET, CA: With its advanced electromagnetic multi-point sensing
technology for large line sizes, a smart programmable signal converter
and a virtually noise-immune cable, the innovative Multi-Mag L Series
Flow Meter delivers exceptional performance in a NEMA 6/IP67 package.
Incorporating a new microprocessor-based signal converter, the Multi-Mag
L Series Flow Meter provides exceptional linearity across six points of
measurement for an expanded flow range with higher turndowns and
superior repeatability. The signal converter also features a highly
intuitive operator interface with a large, easy-to-read digital screen
including graphics capability. Below the screen, a three-button
membrane switch makes programming easier, simplifies installation and
helps prevent operator errors. ---McCrometer
