***High-Pereformance LCD Controller***
MORGAN HILL, CA: HE-1920 is a fully buffered multi-sync interface controller that provides analog and digital connections for large format, high-definition TFT LCDs plus wide operating temperature and voltage ranges, heightened shock and vibration tolerance, and conformal coating for extreme environment applications. The HE-1920 is designed to comply with the strict standards required for the harsh environments encountered in military and rugged industrial applications. Designed to aid manufacturers building hardened panel display systems requiring advanced capabilities such as high resolution and high-definition, the HE-1920 features wide tolerance power supplies (12 VDC ± 25%), locking connectors and low-mass tantalum capacitors for maximum tolerance to shock and vibration, Mil-spec silicon resin conformal coatings, a laboratory-certified operating temperature range of -40ºC to +80ºC, and calculated MTBF in excess of 100K hours, with full RoHS compliance. ---Digital View, Inc.
***High-performance Distance Measurement Sensor in a Compact Housing***
MINNEAPOLIS, MN: SICK (www.sickusa.com), one of the world’s leading manufacturers of sensors, safety systems and automatic identification products for factory and logistics automation, today announced the launch of the DS30 Distance Measurement Sensor. This new sensor enhances the company’s position as the leader in distance measurement products. The DS30 combines simple push button setup with incredible detection performance – all in an industry standard housing. The DS30 line is a proximity style sensor with a single PNP or NPN output capable of detecting virtually any target within its 2-meter range. What makes the DS30 unique is its ability to detect flat black and shiny targets at the same range repeatedly. Many other sensors will see a brighter target as closer to the sensor than a darker target; this is called a black/white shift. High performance sensors like the SICK DME and DT500 series have color-independent detection and measurement as well, but this type of performance has never been offered in a sensor the size and at the price of a DS30. Applications include pallet bay/bin empty/full detection, loop control for web materials – like paper, plastic, rubber, and metals, and for detecting parcels, packages and objects with shiny surfaces to trigger SICK bar code scanners. ---Sick, Inc.
***Rugged Electro Optic Level Sensor***
PLAINVILLE, CT: Miniature, low cost 950 Electro Optic Level Sensor (ELS) is suited for a wide range of applications and industries. It was developed to perform in harsh environments with features such as an over-molded electronics insert, TPE insulated wires, and fluorosilicone O-ring seals that create a watertight, environmentally resistant assembly. Housing options include Polysulfone or Polyethersulfone providing compatibility with a broad range of media. The compact size, durability, and low cost of the sensor creates an excellent option for applications such as: OHV, Medical diagnostic, sterilizer, and dialysis equipment; low lubricant warning on machine tools, and generator sets; construction, agricultural, and material handling equipment; coolant reservoir monitoring/warning; and OEM food and beverage applications. ---Gems Sensors Inc.
